Solution Area Specialist - Security

About the role

The Security Solution Area Specialist is a senior, customer‑facing leader who drives cybersecurity transformation for enterprise and public‑sector organisations. You will own the end‑to‑end sales lifecycle, partner with technical teams, and help customers align security initiatives with business risk, AI transformation, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with CISOs, CIOs and senior leaders to address complex security challenges.
• Lead strategic engagements across the Microsoft Security portfolio, positioning security as a catalyst for resilience and growth.
• Develop, manage and close a healthy pipeline of opportunities, driving revenue and expanding existing accounts.
• Translate customer security, compliance and risk requirements into business‑focused solutions and long‑term strategies.
• Orchestrate virtual teams of sales, technical and partner resources to accelerate deal execution.
• Stay ahead of cybersecurity trends and provide thought leadership to customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in consultative selling of security solutions to senior business and technology leaders.
• Strong ability to influence executive‑level decision makers and manage complex sales cycles.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
