Software QA Engineer

About the role

The Software QA Engineer will ensure the quality and reliability of our EMR/EHR modules across clinical, administrative, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, inventory and reporting workflows. You will work closely with product owners, developers and end‑users to validate functionality, identify defects and support release readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test plans, scenarios, cases, regression checklists and UAT support documents.
• Review product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to define test coverage.
• Execute functional, regression and integration testing for assigned modules.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools, documenting results and reporting inconsistencies.
• Support basic automation initiatives and recommend areas for automation improvement.
• Log, classify and track defects, providing clear reports and following up with developers.
• Participate in release readiness reviews and prepare QA sign‑off notes.
• Assist with user acceptance testing and implementation support.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and documentation practices.
• Experience testing healthcare or enterprise software is a plus.

Required skills

• Postman (or similar) for REST API testing.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Katalon.
• Ability to create and maintain detailed test documentation and evidence.
• Familiarity with defect tracking processes.
