About the role

TAJBank Ltd. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join its Kano office. The role focuses on maintaining a secure, reliable IT environment that supports the bank’s ethical, interest‑free banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage servers, networks, and end‑user systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical incidents promptly.
• Implement security best practices and support compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Provide hands‑on support to internal users and document procedures and incident resolutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to address technology needs.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in IT with knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and software.
• Practical experience in network administration and network security.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues.
• Relevant academic background (degree or diploma) in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft) are a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kano and follow security and compliance procedures.
