Product Owner

About the role

Rednoxx Limited is looking for a Product Owner to drive the design and delivery of hospital‑wide software solutions in Kano, Nigeria. The role focuses on translating clinical, administrative and financial workflows into clear product requirements that support safe, efficient patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Map and document end‑to‑end workflows across registration, triage, consultation, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, inpatient care, theatre, billing, insurance, inventory and reporting.
• Identify pain points, bottlenecks, revenue leakages and risk areas, and convert findings into structured product requirements.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications and maintain backlog items, issue logs and decision records.
• Prioritise backlog based on patient safety, operational and financial impact, and implementation urgency.
• Own product definition for clinical modules (e.g., registration, nursing, pharmacy) and supporting modules such as billing, NHIA/HMO, inventory and dashboards.
• Validate system outputs, support QA in test case creation, and lead user acceptance testing with hospital staff.
• Prepare UAT scripts, support release activities and capture feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 36 months of experience in product ownership or business analysis.
• Proven experience mapping clinical and business workflows in a healthcare environment.
• Strong ability to produce clear, testable product requirements and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Experience prioritising backlog items based on safety, operational and financial criteria.
• Comfort working closely with clinicians, administrators, finance and IT teams.
