Software Development Intern

About the role

BORIZENT is looking for a Software Development Intern to support its work on designing, building, testing and improving websites, applications, platforms and other digital products. The internship is remote and closes on 31 October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve frontend, backend, web or mobile features
• Turn approved designs and requirements into working software
• Build and integrate APIs, databases and third-party services
• Write readable, reusable and maintainable code
• Test, debug and resolve software issues
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Take part in code reviews and technical discussions
• Document implemented features and development decisions
• Work with product managers, designers, QA and DevOps
• Follow security, accessibility and performance best practices

Required profile

• Interest in software development and digital products
• Basic experience in at least one area: frontend, backend, web or mobile development
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively
• A GitHub profile, portfolio or relevant project is preferred

Required skills

• Knowledge of at least one programming language or framework
• Familiarity with technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, PHP, Java or Flutter
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases and version control
• Experience with Git and GitHub is helpful
