Social Media Specialist

About the role

CIG Motors is looking for a Social Media Specialist to manage its social media presence. The role develops content and campaigns that grow brand awareness, drive engagement and generate traffic and leads across social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a social media content calendar across platforms
• Execute organic and paid social media campaigns aligned with marketing objectives
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and manage the brand's online reputation
• Monitor conversations and sentiment, escalating issues where necessary
• Track performance metrics, prepare regular reports and use data to optimise content and campaigns
• Work closely with the Creative Director and Motion Designer & Video Editor on content assets
• Stay current with social media trends, platform updates and best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience managing brand social media accounts
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills
• Analytical skills and creativity, with awareness of digital and social trends
• Effective community management skills

• Experience with social media management and analytics tools
• Sound knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
