Social Media Manager

About the role

Magnum Legal Solutions is hiring a Social Media Manager in Lagos (Marina) to manage the firm's social media presence and turn its legal services, industry insights and professional achievements into engaging content. The role is full time and entry level.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the firm's brand and business objectives.
• Create, curate and publish content on platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram, and manage the accounts, content calendar and online presence.
• Translate the firm's legal services and achievements into clear, audience-appropriate content.
• Monitor engagement, respond to enquiries and keep online interactions professional.
• Track and analyse performance, prepare reports and recommend improvements.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve visibility and engagement.
• Collaborate with the team on content for campaigns, events and announcements, ensuring accuracy, professionalism and brand consistency.

Required profile

• Degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience managing social media accounts and creating digital content; experience with professional services, corporate or legal accounts is an advantage.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Understanding of digital marketing, audience engagement and brand positioning.
• Professional judgment, discretion and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Social media management, content planning and analytics tools.
• Visual content creation with tools such as Canva.
• Added advantage: LinkedIn page management for law or consulting firms, knowledge of legal industry communications, basic photography, videography and video editing, and proof of social media management certification.
