Social Media Manager

About the role

ComptroubNigeria is hiring a full-time Social Media Manager based in Lagos (Marina). The role covers strategy, content creation, community management and performance analysis across the company's social channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
• Create, curate and publish engaging content, including posts, videos, graphics and stories.
• Manage and maintain the company's social media accounts and online communities.
• Monitor platforms, respond to comments, messages and enquiries professionally and promptly.
• Plan and manage content calendars for consistent posting.
• Track trends, industry developments and competitors to spot growth opportunities.
• Analyse performance with analytics tools and prepare regular reports.
• Run campaigns to raise brand awareness, engagement and followers.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications and creative teams on consistent brand messaging.
• Watch online conversations and manage the company's online reputation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Digital Marketer or in a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational, multitasking and time-management skills; creativity, attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms and best practices.
• Proficiency in content creation and scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Basic graphic design and video editing skills are an added advantage.
