Podcast Video Editor

About the role

Raphael Group is looking for a Podcast Video Editor to edit full-length multi-camera podcast episodes and cut engaging short-form clips for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn. The role also covers audio cleanup, captioning, colour grading and thumbnail support.

Key responsibilities

• Edit full-length multi-camera podcast episodes for YouTube, Spotify video and other platforms
• Cut short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
• Sync and clean audio: remove noise, filler words, dead air and mistakes
• Add captions, lower thirds, motion graphics, transitions and branding
• Colour correct and grade footage for a consistent look
• Create thumbnails or work with the design team on episode thumbnails
• Identify the most compelling moments in each episode for promotion
• Deliver projects on time in the correct formats for each platform
• Organise project files and maintain a clean archive of assets
• Incorporate feedback quickly and professionally

Required profile

• 3 years of professional video editing experience, ideally with podcasts or talk-based content
• Portfolio or showreel of previous podcast or interview edits (required)
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
• Reliable laptop/PC capable of handling heavy 4K editing and stable internet

Required skills

• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro)
• Working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics and captions
• Solid multi-cam editing and audio sync skills
• Audible editing and mixing (Adobe Audition or similar)
• Nice to have: AI editing tools (Descript, Opus Clip), basic graphic design (Photoshop, Canva), YouTube SEO and audience retention knowledge
