Social Media Analyst / Content Creator

About the role

Losode Nigeria Limited is looking for a Social Media Analyst / Content Creator based in Lagos, Marina. The role covers strategy, content creation, community engagement and performance monitoring for the brand's social channels, working closely with the marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with the brand and business objectives.
• Plan, create and publish engaging content, including captions and storytelling, and maintain a structured content calendar.
• Manage the social media accounts so that content is engaging, relevant and consistent with the brand.
• Build and engage the online community by responding to comments, messages and conversations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns promoting the brand, designers, products, collections and marketplace initiatives.
• Identify social media, fashion and digital trends and turn them into content opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activity and drive traffic from social platforms to the marketplace through content, campaigns and calls to action.
• Track metrics such as reach, engagement, audience growth, clicks, traffic and content performance, and use insights to improve content, messaging and posting schedules.
• Prepare regular performance reports and work with internal teams on campaigns and promotions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
• 2-3 years of proven experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing or a related role.
• Interest or experience in fashion, e-commerce or marketplace businesses is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong content development, copywriting and storytelling skills, including short-form video content.
• Good understanding of social media analytics and familiarity with social media analytics tools.
• Ability to interpret data and turn findings into practical recommendations.
• Planning, organisation and time-management skills.
