Slickline Operator

About the role

The Slickline Operator will perform well‑intervention tasks on oil and gas wells, ensuring safe and efficient production. You will work on tubing integrity, valve installation, and down‑hole measurements across multiple field locations in the Marina region.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out tubing integrity investigations using drift or gauge cutters.
• Perform pressure testing, wax removal, and sand bail‑out to maintain well flow.
• Install, retrieve, and change gas‑lift valves, dummy valves, FSE injection valves, and SESSV equipment.
• Run slickline services such as gauge runs, plug pulling/setting, and wireline deployments.
• Measure down‑hole pressure, temperature, porosity, viscosity and other production indices with electronic gauges.
• Operate memory production logging tools (MPLT) and down‑hole vision cameras.
• Control sliding sleeves, hydraulic packers, and sealing plugs for zone management.
• Write field activity reports and provide technical assistance to field personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in slickline or well‑intervention operations.
• A degree in a related engineering or technical field.
