Site Supervisor (Lagos)

About the role

A leading multinational construction company in Lagos, recruited through its client, is looking for experienced Site Supervisors in Lagos and Abuja. The supervisor ensures that all projects under their supervision are built smoothly, to the required quality and on schedule, as directed by the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction works on site and ensure quality and schedule as directed by the Project Manager.
• Interface with subcontractors' representatives and workers to make sure works follow approved drawings and meet the required quality.
• Ensure best work practices are used and that all workers wear the essential PPE at all times.
• Make sure site rules and regulations are strictly followed.
• Carry out other functions requested by the Project Manager and Technical Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Building or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in Engineering or Building Technology are an advantage but not required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering or Building; general working experience does not count.
• Experience with high-rise buildings, blocks of flats, shopping malls and office developments.
