AC Technician

About the role

A construction company in Lagos is looking for an AC Technician to join its team. The role coordinates the daily activities of a small team of AC technicians under the guidance of a supervisor, keeping the highest standards of quality and safety in all team activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily activities of a small team of AC technicians and inform the team leader of completed tasks
• Inspect work areas and observe, detect and troubleshoot problems
• Manage medium-sized teams and show interest, ability and charisma to coordinate them
• Perform work safely, following health and safety procedures and wearing personal protective equipment
• Report defects, hazards, injuries and incidents to supervisors, HSE representatives or the QHSE manager
• Know emergency and evacuation procedures and participate in incident investigations if required
• Carry out any other related duties assigned from time to time

Required profile

• 4 years of experience in the field
• General knowledge of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning applications
• Ability to select equipment and good near vision
• Effective written and verbal communication and listening skills
• Intermediate calculation skills and excellent time management
• Good instructing skills
