Service Supervisor I - Cementing

About the role

Halliburton is hiring a Service Supervisor I for its cementing service line in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Working under general supervision, the supervisor coordinates and oversees cementing work at the well site, provides quality service to the customer and leads the site crew. The role is full time and sits in the Operations product service line.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the planning for each job, including instructions to the crew and equipment used, and resolve disputes to approved levels.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with the work performed.
• Coordinate and direct the activities of service operators.
• Coordinate the clean-up, repair and preparation of equipment for the next job.
• Plan and perform the necessary calculations for the total job at the well site as needed.
• Lead the site crew, which includes Halliburton and non-Halliburton employees, and evaluate individual performance levels.
• Train operators to improve their job performance.
• Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, comply with HSE regulations and guidelines, and take an active part in the Quality Improvement Process.

Required profile

• High school diploma or similar education and one year of experience as a Service Operator-Cementing, II.
• Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, given the nature of oil field service work.
• Necessary working skills within the service line and a general understanding of other service functions.
• Meets the minimum developmental standards for this job classification; the role has budgetary accountability or directly impacts a revenue center's viability or quality of service.
