Senior Software Engineer – AI Integrations & Application Layer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced software engineer who can turn large‑language‑model (LLM) APIs into production‑ready features for our SaaS platform. This role focuses on the application layer, not on model training, and works closely with the founder on AI architecture and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design the logic and architecture for integrating AI throughout the product.
• Evaluate and select appropriate LLMs, APIs, and approaches for each feature.
• Build production‑grade AI functionality using OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar APIs.
• Develop, manage, and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and tools.
• Create and maintain third‑party integrations, including domain‑connect triggers.
• Debug application and integration issues that impact core product development.
• Improve reliability and scalability of existing AI‑enabled components.
• Collaborate directly in the codebase alongside the founder and engineering team.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building AI‑enabled SaaS applications.
• Strong background integrating LLM APIs into real‑world products.
• Understanding of model selection, orchestration, and when to use different models.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and MCP server management.
• Solid backend API development and third‑party integration expertise.
• Proven ability to build complex, interactive web applications.
• Capability to debug and work effectively within an existing production codebase.
