Senior Sales Engineer – Welding Solutions

About the role

The Senior Sales Engineer will lead business development for Castolin Eutectic’s welding and maintenance product portfolio across Nigeria. You will create and execute sales strategies, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth in key industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities and increase sales.
• Create and execute sales plans, set targets, and coordinate promotional activities with the sales team.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the welding and repair sector.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge of welding technologies and communicate benefits to clients.
• Track sales performance, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure timely payment collection from direct business and distributors.
• Coordinate with supply chain and production for drawings, jobs, stock, and logistics.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in welding sales or engineering.
• Proven track record in business development within sectors such as cement, mining or power.
• Strong understanding of maintenance and repair welding products and services.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
