Senior Research Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Research Officer to lead the design and delivery of market research projects for our clients. You will work closely with business development and client teams to create compelling proposals, conduct rigorous research, and produce insightful reports.

Key responsibilities

• Design research materials such as proposals, briefs, questionnaires, discussion guides, and recruitment plans.
• Support business development through lead generation, outreach, and proposal preparation.
• Conduct desk research, background analysis, and data gathering using research databases and internet sources.
• Prepare visually engaging reports, presentations, and documentation using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Plan and coordinate field research activities, collaborating with local teams in Ghana and other countries.
• Participate in client briefings and strategic discussions to capture requirements and objectives.
• Track proposal outcomes, maintain a database of submissions, and ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Sciences, Statistics/Mathematics, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal writing, business development, or research.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
