Brand & Communications Manager

About the role

A private healthcare network in Lagos is looking for an experienced Brand & Communications Manager to shape its brand, messaging and communications function. This strategic, hands‑on role will own the full lifecycle from strategy development to execution and measurement, driving business growth and digital health adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement brand and communications strategies that align with business objectives and strengthen market positioning.
• Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all customer touchpoints and create communication frameworks for healthcare services.
• Design and run client‑engagement campaigns to improve loyalty, service utilization and retention.
• Partner with business divisions to translate complex healthcare information into clear, compelling content for digital and traditional channels.
• Lead media relations, produce press releases, thought‑leadership pieces and maintain relationships with journalists and external stakeholders.
• Drive awareness and adoption of the company’s mobile health app, CRICARE, targeting middle‑class consumers.
• Establish KPIs, track performance metrics (conversion, lead generation, engagement, retention, digital adoption, ROI) and provide actionable reports to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in brand management, communications, marketing or public relations, preferably in a regulated industry such as healthcare.
• Proven track record of end‑to‑end ownership of brand and communications initiatives with measurable results.
• Strong media‑relations and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information.
• Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and reporting campaign performance.
