Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our software development team and take an active role in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our products. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience with test automation, understands modern software development practices, and works closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks.
• Create and execute automated tests for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Build and maintain regression, integration, functional, and end‑to‑end automated test suites.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyze test results.
• Participate in code reviews related to test automation and support manual testing when required.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional experience in Software QA with a focus on automation.
• Solid experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#.
• Extensive experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, databases and client‑server architecture.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with Git.
• Good written and spoken English.
