Senior Program Manager

About the role

Heirs Technologies is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the delivery of a next‑generation digital banking platform for one of Africa’s largest financial institutions. You will partner closely with the Programme Director, ensuring every workstream stays on schedule, risks are visible, and decisions are executed.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Programme Director in end‑to‑end execution across product, engineering, integration, cybersecurity, legal, commercial, people, go‑to‑market and rollout workstreams.
• Maintain an integrated view of scope, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate and synchronize delivery across multiple domains, including UI/UX, backend engineering, API and core‑banking integration, cloud platform, DevSecOps, fraud controls and regulatory readiness.
• Lead, coach and performance‑manage Scrum Masters and Project Managers, establishing consistent agile and reporting standards.
• Drive execution discipline, ensuring clear ownership, actionable items and timely decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale digital banking or software platform programmes.
• Deep understanding of agile engineering delivery and ability to operate at executive level.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on risk visibility, dependency tracking and stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams across multiple jurisdictions.
