AI Engineer – Agentic Systems, LLMs & RAG

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy agentic systems, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines, and LLM‑powered applications for Kredete’s cross‑border financial platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement LLM‑driven applications using frameworks such as LangChain.
• Build and optimise RAG pipelines that integrate vector databases and external data sources.
• Develop autonomous agentic workflows that can reason, plan and execute tasks.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing products and services, including API and backend development.
• Orchestrate workflows with automation tools like n8n and ensure performance, latency and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong experience with LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience building RAG systems and autonomous agents.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python preferred, Golang, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n.
• Solid understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS), embeddings, semantic search and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and RESTful API development.
• Willingness to travel to Kredete hubs (Lagos, London, Riga) as needed.
