Senior Procurement Manager - Pharmaceuticals

About the role

Allensmart Limited is hiring a Senior Procurement Manager in Abuja, Nigeria, to source pharmaceutical products and manage its supply chain. The role covers sourcing, inventory control, quality checks on expiry dates, logistics coordination and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing pharmaceutical products from verified manufacturers, distributors and suppliers at competitive prices nationwide without compromising quality.
• Monitoring stock levels proactively to avoid stock-outs, with a focus on fast-moving and high-demand medicines.
• Evaluating dates of manufacture and expiration during sourcing to ensure optimal shelf life and prevent waste or expired inventory.
• Coordinating logistics so orders reach distribution points or facilities promptly and efficiently.
• Building and maintaining strong, compliant and transparent relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and distributors.
• Tracking market trends, price changes, supply chain disruptions and regulatory guidelines to stay in line with pharmaceutical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of a BSc degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
