Senior Officer, Global Monitoring & Evaluation

About the role

The Senior Officer, Global Monitoring & Evaluation (M/E) supports International Medical Corps in strengthening its M/E systems worldwide. Working from the Abuja office, the role ensures high‑quality data collection, analysis, and reporting across all country missions.

Key responsibilities

• Update and harmonise M/E standards, competency frameworks, manuals and training materials.
• Coordinate implementation of global M/E strategy, minimum standards and remote‑monitoring approaches.
• Assist country teams with data collection, compilation, analysis and utilisation for programme decisions.
• Lead the production and review of the Global Country Report (GCR) and other global reporting tools.
• Provide technical support to missions for data entry in the DHIS2 system.
• Consolidate global data for board meetings, annual reports and communications.
• Collaborate with the QARI team and Communications Department to disseminate findings.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in monitoring and evaluation within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Proven ability to work with diverse country teams and coordinate large‑scale data initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset and capacity to produce high‑quality reports.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abuja and travel as needed.
