Senior Lead – Sales and Trade Development (Enugu)

About the role

The Senior Lead – Sales and Trade Development will drive MTN’s brand presence and achieve monthly sales targets in the Enugu region. Reporting to the Manager of Sales and Trade Development, you will lead a diverse team of Sales Representatives, Mobilize Consultants, Field Support Agents, and SRAAs.

Key responsibilities

• Increase sales activations and product penetration while ensuring brand visibility across the territory.
• Monitor channel operations, manage stock levels, and guarantee timely product availability.
• Coach, train, and develop direct reports to meet departmental objectives and improve product knowledge.
• Conduct performance reviews and appraisals in line with company procedures.
• Oversee technical activities, ensure accurate transaction and administrative documentation.
• Build and maintain relationships with dealers and organise distributor forums and events.

Required profile

• First degree (B.Sc. or HND) in Social Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years post‑degree experience.
• Fluent in English.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in a medium‑sized organisation and familiarity with data mining tools.
• Telecom experience is an advantage.
