About the role
A full-time position (40 hours per week) structured as contractor work, working directly with the CTO on both backend and frontend. The role suits someone who enjoys solving ambiguous real-world problems with high technical autonomy, collaborating with the founding team and customers to shape the product roadmap and designs, and finding creative ways to iterate and deliver value.
Required profile
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience
- Product-minded, curious and empathetic, with a strong focus on user experience
- Has experimented with AI as part of coding practice and has built AI applications
- Clear communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willing to work independently with minimal supervision and in Pacific timezone
- Own computer required; sole employment, no second job
Required skills
- Frontend: React with Radix UI themes
- Backend: Remix (Node.js) with Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL
- Full-stack TypeScript
- AWS with CDK
- Ability to design system architectures
