Senior Business Development Executive - Oil & Gas

About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Business Development Executive to lead revenue growth in the upstream oil and gas services sector. The role focuses on identifying profitable opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and expanding market share across Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development plans to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify, prospect and secure new opportunities within the upstream oil and gas services market.
• Leverage established industry relationships to engage decision‑makers, procurement teams and technical stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, technical‑commercial proposals and client pitches.
• Lead negotiations, coordinate internal resources and manage the sales pipeline to contract award.
• Monitor performance against targets and produce regular market and pipeline forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum five years of business development or sales experience in upstream oil and gas services.
• Deep knowledge of the Nigerian upstream sector, including non‑operated JV assets and procurement structures.
• Established, verifiable relationships with key stakeholders in the Benin‑Warri corridor.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
