Senior Associate Nursing Officer

About the role

The Senior Associate Nursing Officer leads the nursing team to deliver safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care across Reliance Health’s clinics. This role combines clinical guidance, data‑driven improvement, and coordination with doctors and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support nurses in delivering safe, high‑quality care and patient education programmes.
• Provide clinical guidance on assessment, care planning, and escalation of complex cases.
• Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, conduct reviews and coach staff.
• Develop duty rosters, staffing plans and oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention.
• Drive quality improvement through audits, clinical reviews and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, infection‑prevention standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage nursing inventory, vaccines, medications, consumables and clinical equipment.
• Analyse clinical and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and prepare performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) with a valid NMCN practicing license.
• Completed NYSC programme or valid Certificate of Exemption.
• Minimum 4 years post‑NYSC clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
• Experience using data and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
