Senior Architect

About the role

Castel Resources is hiring a Senior Architect in Anambra, Nigeria. The architect leads architectural concepts, designs and construction drawings, coordinates with engineers, contractors and clients, and mentors junior architects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of architectural concepts, designs and construction drawings.
• Review and approve architectural plans, specifications and design documentation.
• Coordinate with civil and building engineers, contractors, consultants and clients.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure alignment with approved designs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, planning requirements and safety standards.
• Manage design timelines, project deliverables and client expectations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Extensive relevant architectural experience, including project leadership.
• Willingness to work in Awka, Anambra State.
• Professional registration with ARCON is an advantage and may be required for regulated professional duties.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other architectural software.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction documentation and building materials.
• Excellent design, leadership, communication and project coordination skills.
