Civil Engineer

About the role

Castel Resources is hiring a full-time Civil Engineer based in Anambra, Nigeria. The engineer supervises daily construction activities on site, coordinates contractors and artisans, and keeps the project within quality, schedule and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and monitor site progress
• Interpret engineering drawings, plans and technical specifications
• Coordinate contractors, artisans and other site personnel
• Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Monitor material usage, project schedules and construction costs
• Prepare site reports and communicate project updates to management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Civil Engineering
• Relevant experience in civil engineering and construction
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials and site supervision
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work in Awka, Anambra State

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software is an advantage
