Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements for Invest-Trust Asset Management Limited, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements. This role supports executive decision‑making through robust financial reporting, budgeting, and cash‑flow management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SEC regulations, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Oversee tax planning, compliance, and statutory remittances.
• Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury operations, and investment‑related transactions.
• Prepare and submit regulatory returns within stipulated timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and risk management processes.
• Support executive management with financial analysis and decision‑making.
• Supervise and mentor members of the finance team.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification (mandatory).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in capital markets, asset management or stockbroking.
