Senior Account / Sales Manager – Instrumentation (Oil & Gas)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Account / Sales Manager to lead instrumentation and automation sales across Sub‑Saharan Africa for the oil & gas sector. The role combines strategic account planning with hands‑on customer engagement to drive revenue growth and long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a balanced approach between superior customer service and strategic account planning, delivering quarterly results and long‑term goals.
• Identify new sales opportunities, build value propositions, and present tailored solutions to key accounts.
• Act as the trusted advisor and ambassador for customers, managing relationships, proposals, contract negotiations, and account plans.
• Drive sales campaigns and business initiatives, coordinating cross‑functional resources to meet customer drivers.
• Lead peer influence and executive sponsor interactions to ensure coordinated order pursuit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation.
• Minimum 5 years of instrumentation/automation sales experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power, water, or mining.
• Proven track record managing key O&G customers and channel partners in the region.
• Experience operating in an international, matrixed organization with multi‑country responsibilities.
