Sales Engineer

About the role

Atlantic Climate Control Nigeria is seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to drive business development and manage key accounts in the commercial HVAC and chiller sector. You will act as the technical bridge between customers and internal teams, ensuring solutions deliver measurable ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new commercial/industrial accounts while nurturing an existing client portfolio.
• Sell Annual Maintenance Contracts, system overhauls, equipment replacements, and energy‑saving retrofits.
• Evaluate customer requirements, design technical and commercial solutions, and calculate ROI.
• Prepare cost estimates, tender documents, and competitive proposals using CPQ/CRM tools.
• Develop detailed scopes of work, pricing structures, SLAs, and tailored commercial proposals.
• Translate complex mechanical, electrical, or software details into clear business value for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary technical contact post‑sale, coordinating with service and engineering teams to ensure contract execution and renewals.
• Collaborate with field technicians, billing, and product development to relay equipment feedback and track payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 2‑6+ years of technical sales, estimating, or business development experience in commercial HVAC, chiller, or I‑REF industry.
• Deep understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, preventive maintenance reports, and building controls.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem‑solving abilities.
