About the role
We are looking for a reliable Cashier to join our team at Zakiss Photos Limited in Marina. The role involves handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the checkout area.
Key responsibilities
- Process transactions using a POS system, accepting cash, credit, debit, checks, or digital payments.
- Manage cash drawers, count and balance cash at the start and end of each shift, and prepare reports.
- Provide customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, applying coupons, and handling returns or exchanges.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout workstation, stocked with bags and supplies.
- Address customer complaints or product discrepancies calmly to ensure a smooth checkout experience.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: OND.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar cashier role.
Required skills
- Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
