SAP Functional Support Analyst - Production Planning

About the role

Dangote Cement Plc is looking for motivated professionals with SAP experience in the Production Planning module. The resource(s) will join the team to support the daily SAP operations of the business and SAP implementation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional support for SAP PP modules and manage multiple simultaneous SAP projects and tasks from conception to completion.
• Gather requirements and define scope with business stakeholders, then turn them into development design and programming specifications.
• Plan and coordinate resources and activities to meet business requirements and project deadlines.
• Work with end users to provide system support and share knowledge, and perform functional testing, create documentation and deliver end-user training with the SAP Core team.
• Bridge the gap between business and IT, working with internal and external design and implementation teams.
• Direct the activities of SAP PP resources in line with senior management, and manage end-to-end integration with other modules and applications.
• Analyze customer requirements on business processes and parameters, and assist in mapping master data and transactions.
• Design, develop and manage roles and authorizations, and build WRICEF customizations with proper functional specifications.
• Define innovative functional solutions to meet business process requirements in SAP and/or other supporting systems.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 3 years of relevant experience as a SAP PP Support Analyst.
• At least one end-to-end implementation and hands-on SAP PP support experience.
• Experience in business application development methodology and business process re-engineering.
• Experience with Product Costing, MRP and Produce to Order cycles is a must.
• Leadership skills, strong written and verbal communication, and analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to present ideas and updates to senior or executive-level management.

Required skills

• SAP PP support and functional testing.
• Role and authorization management, and WRICEF customization.
• Experience with S/4 HANA is an added advantage.
• Understanding of user exits and basic ABAP debugging are also advantages.
