About the role
A remote contractor opportunity for an SQL and analytics engineer to create realistic analytics scenarios, write reference SQL solutions and evaluate AI-generated queries. The role contributes to AI evaluation projects using data expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Create realistic analytics scenarios, from raw tables to tested data models.
- Write reference SQL solutions and explain the reasoning behind them.
- Evaluate AI-generated queries for correctness and warehouse efficiency.
- Identify queries that look correct but produce inaccurate or expensive results.
Required profile
- At least 2 years of experience in analytics engineering or SQL-heavy analytics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical writing skills.
Required skills
- Strong SQL, including joins, CTEs, window functions and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Snowflake or Amazon Redshift.
Remuneration is NGN 450,000 per month, subject to the engagement terms and availability of work.
