Sales Representative - Paints

About the role

Terra Paints (Technotap Nigeria Limited) is hiring a Sales Representative for its growing sales team in Port Harcourt and surrounding areas. You will drive sales of the emulsion, gloss and premium Terra paint range by visiting dealers, retailers and project sites daily, with a company driver assigned to support your field movements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned sales territory through regular dealer and customer visits
• Achieve monthly sales targets for volume and value
• Build and maintain relationships with existing dealers while prospecting for new accounts
• Provide product knowledge support and after-sales service to customers
• Collect market feedback and competitor intelligence
• Handle orders and returns properly and report daily sales accurately
• Represent the Terra Paints brand professionally at all times

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in field sales, FMCG or building materials (paint experience is a strong advantage)
• Minimum of SSCE; OND/HND in a related field is an added advantage
• Must be resident in or willing to work in Port Harcourt
• Good knowledge of Port Harcourt and neighbouring towns is preferred

• Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working in the field
