Marine Sales Engineer

About the role

Felton Energy Services Ltd is looking for a commercially focused Marine Sales Engineer based in Trans-Amadi, Port Harcourt. The role drives sales growth, builds strategic client relationships and promotes marine equipment, services and technical solutions to vessel owners, offshore operators, shipyards and marine contractors. Immediate hiring is in progress.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop marine and offshore business opportunities.
• Sell marine equipment, spare parts, engineering services and technical solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with vessel owners, ship managers, shipyards, offshore operators and key stakeholders.
• Conduct client visits, presentations and technical sales meetings.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tender documents and commercial submissions; support bids and tenders.
• Liaise with OEMs, manufacturers, suppliers and technical partners on client solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and upcoming marine projects.
• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
• Work with procurement, engineering, logistics and project teams to deliver projects successfully.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in Marine Sales, Technical Sales, Business Development or Marine Engineering.
• Proven ability to develop business and generate revenue in the marine sector.
• An existing network in the Marine, Offshore, Shipping or Oil & Gas industry is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of marine equipment, vessel systems, offshore operations and maritime services.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management.
