Sales & Marketing Specialist – Insurance

About the role

Heirs Insurance Group is looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Specialist to join its Life Assurance division in Lagos. You will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and meeting sales targets for a range of insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals and social media.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with individual and corporate clients.
• Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to prospects.
• Negotiate terms, finalize contracts and close deals that align with client needs and company goals.
• Provide after‑sales support to ensure satisfaction, retention and referrals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and report sales performance to management.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and customer service teams to align sales strategies.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer‑focus orientation.
