Sales & Marketing Manager – Metering (Nigeria)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our metering business across Nigeria. The role focuses on driving growth of smart‑metering, prepaid meters, AMI/AMR and related energy‑management solutions while building strong relationships with utilities, distributors and key commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the power and utility sector.
• Drive sales of smart meters, prepaid meters, AMI/AMR solutions and meter data management systems.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and market‑share targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with DISCOs, utilities, EPC contractors, government agencies and private‑sector clients.
• Prepare techno‑commercial proposals, participate in tenders and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Develop distributor, dealer and system‑integrator networks; provide product training and joint customer visits.
• Conduct market research, report on competitor activity and recommend pricing and positioning.
• Deliver product presentations, technical demonstrations and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecast and CRM updates; produce regular sales reports.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience selling electricity metering and smart‑metering solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to achieve revenue, margin and collection targets.
• Experience working with DISCOs, utilities, EPC contractors and government agencies in Nigeria.
