Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive business development for Citywide Solutions Limited, promoting logistics services to a diverse client base in Lagos. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, managing relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, emails, and field visits.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations, and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, following up on leads and pending opportunities.
• Research market trends, competitor offerings, and identify new market segments for expansion.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM, prepare regular sales reports, and collaborate with finance to collect outstanding payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, courier services or supply chain management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and achieve sales targets.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for client visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM tools.
