Sales & Distribution Officer

About the role

Salpha Energy, a renewable‑energy company focused on affordable solar solutions, is looking for a Sales & Distribution Officer to manage product distribution and support sales activities in Owerri and surrounding areas. You will combine sales, relationship management, and logistics coordination to keep products available, support partners, and achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute cost‑effective dispatch routes to ensure products are always available where sales happen.
• Track products end‑to‑end until sold or returned, reducing delays and shortening sales cycles.
• Maintain relationships with branch managers, CSOs, and union executives; attend meetings to drive demand.
• Accelerate sales velocity and ensure timely remittance from partners.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time inventory records, conduct routine audits, and prevent leakage.
• Produce clear performance reports, identify risks early, and resolve bottlenecks quickly.
• Uphold full compliance with company policies, protecting assets and reputation.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales, logistics, inventory management, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and reporting abilities.
• Good communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Familiarity with local geography and route planning.
• Valid driver’s license and confident driving ability.
