Sales & Business Development Manager

About the role

Breet is looking for a commercially driven Sales & Business Development Manager to build strong relationships, identify valuable opportunities and turn them into partnerships that drive growth across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end B2B business development, from prospecting to onboarding and partner activation.
• Identify, negotiate and close new B2B partnerships aligned with Breet’s objectives.
• Conduct market research, monitor trends and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities.
• Lead sales execution: discovery calls, demos, commercial discussions and negotiations.
• Manage partner relationships, increase product adoption and grow transaction volume.
• Maintain a structured sales pipeline and collaborate with cross‑functional teams for partner onboarding.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of B2B business development or sales experience, with 2 years in fintech, payments or crypto.
• Proven track record managing the full sales cycle and activating partners.
• Experience selling to businesses across African markets, preferably in financial services.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Experience selling APIs or payment infrastructure solutions.
• Familiarity with stablecoins, cryptocurrency infrastructure and digital payments.
