About the role
The Unit Manager will lead a team of Financial Advisors/Marketers, driving insurance sales, recruitment and premium collection. This full‑time position reports to the Agency or Branch Manager and is based on an as‑assigned location.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard and develop a high‑performing sales team.
- Set weekly and monthly sales targets and monitor progress.
- Generate new business through prospecting, referrals and market development.
- Coach team members on prospecting, presentations, objection handling and closing.
- Ensure customer service excellence, policy renewals and premium collection.
- Prepare regular performance reports and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Required profile
- OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, sales or business development.
- Strong leadership, communication and people‑management skills.
- Target‑driven with solid organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Knowledge of insurance products and the Nigerian market is an advantage.
