Retail Channel Manager - Lagos

About the role

Watu, Africa's fastest-growing asset finance company, provides asset financing for motorcycles and three-wheelers to help entrepreneurs and their families. It is hiring a full-time Retail Channel Manager in Lagos, Nigeria, to manage its in-store retail channel and grow sales across the dealer network.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Watu to retail stakeholders and profile stores to drive in-store sales
• Manage the productivity of in-store agents and ensure sales growth against set KPIs
• Provide company and product awareness to potential and existing retail dealers
• Train, coach and support in-store agents on sales drives, onboarding and service delivery
• Ensure stores follow compliant onboarding practices and drive timely reconciliations and settlements
• Promote the Watu brand, present partner products to new store partners and resolve customer complaints
• Track and report sales performance and dealer productivity across states, regions and clusters

Required profile

• At least 3 years of full-time experience in asset financing (mobile) as a frontline business relationship role
• Verifiable retail channel relationships with active retail stores across Nigeria
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Business Administration preferred
• Ethical, compliant professional with no criminal record

Required skills

• Technical understanding of the CRM system
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills
