Field Sales - Telecommunications

About the role

Timeless Network Services Ltd, a Nigerian telecommunications operator founded in 2010 with nationwide coverage, is looking for a field sales professional in Lagos. The role develops customer relationships and grows adoption of its telecommunications and internet services, combining prospecting, customer engagement and coordination with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective business and individual customers through field outreach and local market research.
• Present telecommunications, internet and connectivity offerings, explaining features and suitable options.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects, follow up on leads and move opportunities forward.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical and service teams on proposed solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, prospects and sales activity, and give regular updates.
• Monitor local market activity and customer feedback to spot opportunities and support service improvement.

Required profile

• Proven ability to prospect, generate leads and build customer relationships through in-person outreach.
• Strong verbal communication, presentation, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
• Ability to explain telecom, internet access or connectivity services clearly to customers.
• Customer needs assessment and consultative selling, matching requirements to appropriate solutions.
• Consistent follow-up, pipeline management and organization of multiple opportunities.
• Self-motivated, resilient, professional and able to work toward sales targets.
• Willingness and ability to make regular customer visits and cover an assigned area in Lagos.

Required skills

• Accurate record keeping.
• Confidence using spreadsheets, CRM tools or sales reporting systems.
