Executive Sales Specialist - Banking Sector

About the role

Gnosi Management Centre, an outsourcing firm connecting candidates with employers, is hiring an Executive Sales Specialist in Lagos to support a banking-sector client. The role builds trusted business relationships, identifies suitable financial-service solutions and contributes to revenue growth while delivering a professional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop prospective customer and business accounts through referrals, research and structured outreach.
• Understand customer needs and present relevant banking products or services accurately and clearly.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact and needs assessment through proposal, follow-up and conversion.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients, respond to enquiries and identify opportunities to deepen engagement.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and keep accurate records of leads, client interactions and pipeline activity.
• Coordinate with internal banking teams to support timely service delivery and resolve customer concerns.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, share customer insights and follow applicable sales, conduct and compliance procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to assess customer needs and explain financial products in clear, customer-focused language.
• Relationship-building skills and a professional approach to client service, follow-up and issue resolution.
• Comfortable working toward measurable sales targets and managing a consistent pipeline.
• Sound judgement, integrity and awareness of responsible sales practices and confidentiality.
• Clear written and verbal communication, effective time management, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
