Direct Sales Agent - Banking Products

About the role

Gnosi Management Centre, an outsourcing firm connecting candidates with employers, is recruiting Direct Sales Agents for a role covering all states in Nigeria. The agent introduces banking products and services to prospective customers, builds trusted relationships and helps them understand available solutions, working toward agreed sales and customer-acquisition goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers through direct outreach and in-person sales conversations.
• Explain banking products, eligibility requirements, features and processes clearly and accurately.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products without misrepresenting terms.
• Follow up with prospects, support application completion and coordinate next steps with the relevant teams.
• Maintain organized records of leads, customer interactions and sales activity.
• Meet assigned sales targets while complying with client policies, banking requirements and customer privacy standards.
• Share customer feedback and market observations with supervisors to support service improvements.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication and persuasive, customer-focused selling skills.
• Ability to build rapport, ask discovery questions, handle objections respectfully and explain product information clearly.
• Confidence initiating conversations with prospects and following up consistently.
• Basic understanding of banking products and customer onboarding, with willingness to learn client-specific offerings.
• Good record-keeping and attention to detail, professional judgment on customer information, and respect for privacy and compliance.
• Target-oriented, resilient and self-motivated, able to organize daily sales activity.
• Comfortable using a smartphone and basic digital tools for communication and reporting.
