About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Officer to lead HR activities for our manufacturing operations in Marina, Nigeria. The role will cover employee contracts, payroll, onboarding, compliance, and fostering a motivating work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, suspend, or terminate individual employment contracts.
• Manage the full onboarding process for new hires.
• Maintain personnel documentation in line with current legislation.
• Administer payroll, including salary calculations, absences, holidays, and benefits.
• Oversee employee performance evaluation processes.
• Collaborate with management to develop an efficient and motivating organizational climate.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and labor regulations.
• Participate in the design and delivery of training and continuous development programs.

Required profile

• Completed higher education, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology or Sociology.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Solid knowledge of labor law and related regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Organized, proactive and results‑oriented.
