Research Associate

About the role

The Research Associate supports the Communications and Research Department by carrying out research initiatives, gathering data, analysing policies and producing insights that shape the organisation's advocacy strategies, programme work and strategic interventions. The position is full time and based in Kaduna.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the whole research lifecycle, from study design and data gathering to analysis and final documentation.
• Help draft research reports, policy briefs, concept notes and other publications.
• Carry out literature reviews and gather data to underpin projects.
• Aid in monitoring, documenting and reporting research outcomes.
• Help manage research databases and organise research materials systematically.
• Provide administrative and technical support for research operations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to support research design and data collection.
• Strong writing skills for reports, briefs and publications.
• Experience with monitoring, documentation and reporting.
