Regional Senior HR Business Partner, Africa

About the role

The Regional Senior HR Business Partner (SHRBP) will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders across five African offices (Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa). Based in Abuja, the SHRBP translates business priorities into people strategies, mentors the Associate HRBP and works closely with the Deputy Director, Regional HR Business Partner.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mid‑year and annual performance review cycles, ensuring meaningful goal‑setting, feedback and evaluation.
• Design and deliver performance‑management training to build capability for growth‑focused conversations.
• Develop and execute talent‑management plans, including succession, internal mobility, interim assignments and job rotations.
• Partner with senior leadership to align human‑capital strategies with business objectives and accelerate results.
• Mentor and develop the Associate HRBP, fostering a high‑performing HR team.

Required profile

• Seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in full‑cycle HR practice.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide strategic counsel.
• Strong track record of delivering operational HR outcomes in a multinational environment.
• Experience mentoring junior HR staff and collaborating across regions.
